“UU-A Student Summit 2024” was successfully closed

The “UU-A Student Summit 2024” was held from March 4 to 8, 2024 for master’s students from the seven universities participating in this program, with 60 students from seven universities presenting their research via on-demand video. 

The opening ceremony and SDGs workshop were held on March 4, the first day of the summit. From March 5 to 7, three symposia were held by four invited African faculty members and two faculty members from Utsunomiya University. In addition, 10 students were selected for the Best Presentation Award based on evaluations by the participating faculty members. On March 8, the final day of the summit, an award ceremony and closing ceremony were held, and a video message from the President of Utsunomiya University was also broadcast. All of these events could be attended online via Zoom.  

A printed copy of the “UU-A Student Summit 2024 – SUMMIT PROGRAM AND ABSTRACTS,” a summary of the above UU-A Student Summit 2024, was presented to all presenters along with their certificates. 

The UU-A Student Summit 2025 is scheduled for next March.
