Two long-term UU-A students from Tanzania and Kenya, as well as PhD students from Ghana and Sri Lanka, participated in a summer festival in Hirakawa, Tochigi City. The exchange students had a cultural experience through their active participation and had cultural exchanges with the other participants. The local organizers were happy that the festival became an international event and were impressed with how the international students were considerate toward different cultures and people. The festival and their interview will be broadcast on Tochigi Cable TV’s “Tochigi Hot Station” at 16:00 on July 17 (also at 18:00, 20:00, and 23:00 on the same day, and at 8:00 and 12:00 on July 18, as well as at 10:00 and 15:00 on Saturday).
