In the “Intercultural Awareness and Understanding A (Introduction to African Studies)” (Prof. Sakamoto) class at Utsunomiya University, students from Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria and Madagascar, including three UU-A long-term exchange students, introduced their countries to the students and then interacted with them in groups. The 61 participating students were deeply interested in each African country, and asked many questions about Africa. It has been a valuable experience for the students to direcly learn about Africa from African students.
