Mr. Toshiki Hitomi (School of International Studies Graduate, Graduate School of Regional Development and Creativity Utsunomiya University,Supervisor: Sakamoto Kumiko), 2023-2024 UU-A long-term exchange student to University of Ghana was awarded the Best Thesis in the JASID (The Japan Society for International Development) International Development Thesis Contest at the 26th Spring JASID Conference (June 21, 2025). The thesis was written based on the fieldwork in rural Ghana during the student exchange program.
