UU-A Results Briefing

The Graduate School of Utsunomiya University was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2020 for strengthening collaboration with six African universities, with the aim of developing global human resources who can play an active role internationally and strengthening the global development capacity of university education. However, due to the COVID-19 disaster, mutual exchange through actual travel was not possible, but finally, in FY2022, the physical exchange of students and faculty members was realised.

Therefore, the first hybrid meeting for the real students exchange will be held, where four graduate students from Utsunomiya University who visited the University of Ghana and five students from Africa will report on their achievements and activities. We are looking for a wide range of participants, including
postgraduate students who would like to join the project from next year, undergraduates interested in Africa, and the general public.
